Top Honors for Forum One in 2018 WebAward Competition

We are thrilled to share the news that Forum One has been awarded with three top awards in the 17th annual WebAward competition.

Founded in 1997, the Web Marketing Association (WMA) sets a high standard for Internet marketing and development featuring the best website on the web. Its annual WebAward Competition is the longest annual website award competition dedicated to elevating the best websites in over 90 industries while setting the standard of excellence for all web development. The WebAward competition recognizes the people and organizations responsible for developing some of the most effective sites online today.

And so we are honored to have Forum One’s work featured and awarded in three categories for three client websites. We are equally honored to have worked with each of these mission-driven organizations to design and develop important digital tools and assets that help them to be effective in their work.

United for News: Strengthening Media in a Disrupted World

United for News website

In 2017, Internews identified a major lack of support for local news agencies, particularly in developing parts of the world, to retain the capacity to tell transparent, trustworthy news in a quickly changing world. Internews partnered with the World Economic Forum (WEF) to build a coalition of leaders in the field of news and media to strengthen transparency and truth in media. Internews engaged Forum One to help tell the story of this new coalition. Internews works to ensure access to trusted, quality information that empowers people to have a voice in their future and to live healthy, secure, and rewarding lives. They envision a world where everyone can communicate freely with anyone, anywhere, and exchange the news and information they need to shape their communities and the world.

Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation: On a Mission to End Pediatric HIV/AIDS

EGPAF website

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation seeks to end global pediatric HIV/AIDS through prevention and treatment programs, research, and advocacy. Since their inception in 1988, there has been a 95 percent decline in new pediatric HIV infections in the U.S., and a nearly 60 percent decline in the number of new infections in children worldwide since the year 2000. Forum One worked with the EGPAF team to reimagine, redesign, and redevelop their website to increase engagement and drive action to achieve the Foundation’s ambitious goal of an AIDS-free generation.

The Nation’s Report Card: 2017 Math and Reading Assessments

Nation's Report Card Website

The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) is the only assessment that measures what U.S. students know and can do in various subjects across the nation, states, and in some urban districts. Also known as The Nation’s Report Card, NAEP has provided important information about how students are performing academically since 1969. Forum One worked closely with Educational Testing Service (ETS), the prime contractor for this work, to design and produce these products. ETS’s mission is to help advance quality and equity in education by providing fair and valid assessments, research and related services. Our products and services measure knowledge and skills, promote learning and performance, and support education and professional development for all people worldwide. ETS has worked with NAEP since 1983.

Congratulations to all Forum One team members who were part of these three great projects. We are so pleased to see your hard work recognized by these awards.
