World Wildlife Fund (WWF)
Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has been working to improve the health of our planet for over 50 years, and slowing down climate change is central to their mission. WWF’s unique way of working provides global reach from a foundation in science, drives action at every level from local to global, and delivers innovative solutions that benefit both people and nature.
Illustrating the Story of Impact
Forum One drew from WWF’s library of stunning photography to visually communicate key points of the report and illustrate the need to conserve forests. From striking views of the flora and fauna that are affected by deforestation and climate change, to portraits of how the people living in these areas are affected, the report’s visual assets portray the beauty and the human importance of preserving these natural habitats.
Using Color to Create a Unique User Experience
Starting from WWF’s bright color palette, Forum One developed a visual design system that clearly orients report readers to each section. To further drive engagement with the content, we used large, bold text to call out quotations and make related sections of the report easy to read and explore. These elements create a cohesive design that clearly communicates the report’s key messages to readers at a glance and keeps them engaged.
