Forum One collaborated with Tangled Bank Studios to develop a stunning, mobile-responsive WordPress site for Wild Hope, resulting in a dynamic, user-friendly platform that not only showcases the Wild Hope documentary series but also enhances user interaction and exploration. This project demonstrates how digital platforms can transform educational experiences, making learning more accessible and engaging. Through interactive content and immersive storytelling, Wild Hope brings education to life, inspiring both students and educators to explore and learn in new ways. The platform not only provides a wealth of resources but also encourages collaboration and community building among users. Baltimore County Public Library
Silver – Education
Libraries are crucial for community education, and the Baltimore County Public Library excels with its innovative digital platform. This platform, winning Silver in Education, enhances user experience and accessibility, making resources available to everyone. It provides an intuitive interface for accessing books, research materials, and community programs, with advanced search options and personalized recommendations to promote reading and lifelong learning.
Forum One migrated the library’s website from SiteExecutive CMS to Drupal. The new site integrates with external systems for events, the catalog, help requests, and Google Translate. We trained and continue to support the Baltimore County team to manage their new AWS infrastructure.
FHI 360
Silver – Non-Profit
FHI 360, a nonprofit human development organization, received Silver for its impactful digital presence. The organization’s website serves as a hub for information and resources on crucial global issues, from health to economic development. The platform’s design prioritizes user experience, ensuring that visitors can quickly find the information they need. FHI 360’s commitment to transparency and collaboration is reflected in its digital solutions, which empower users to engage with and support its mission effectively.
Indy Parks
Silver – Cultural Institutions
Indy Parks highlights the value of cultural institutions in community engagement and recreation, earning Silver for its comprehensive digital platform. This platform features an interactive map, allowing Indianapolis residents to filter by cultural facilities, sporting activities, or water access. Built with a flexible library of components, the site empowers the Indy Parks team to manage parks pages, facilities, job opportunities, events, and seasonal activities. Through vibrant visuals and simple navigation, the platform encourages residents to explore local parks and participate in community activities, showcasing how digital innovation can enhance public spaces and foster community pride.
National Early Care and Education Workforce Center
Silver – Education
The National Early Care and Education Workforce Center is dedicated to supporting educators and caregivers in early childhood. Winning Silver in Education, the center’s digital platform provides valuable resources and training, focusing on a user-friendly design and accessible content to enhance educators’ skills and improve outcomes for young children.
ZERO TO THREE joined the ECE Workforce Center last year, a collaborative effort of five core partners, building on the broader work of the Administration for Children and Families within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services . They aim to reform ECE career advancement, pay, and workplace policies to better recruit and retain a diverse, qualified workforce. Forum One worked with ZERO TO THREE to create the first website for their new Early Childhood Developmental Health Systems Evidence to Impact National Center. The center’s commitment to excellence in early childhood education is evident in its innovative digital solutions.
Oregon Zoo
Silver – Cultural Institutions
Portland’s Oregon Zoo is a leader in wildlife conservation and education, attracting nearly 1.5 million visitors annually and aiding in the protection of over 20 endangered species. Recognized with Silver for its exceptional digital presence, the zoo partnered with Forum One in 2023 to revamp their website. The redesign aimed to enhance the guest experience by integrating the zoo’s new brand and focusing on mobile accessibility, a crucial feature for visitors planning their trips. The site now offers an immersive experience with interactive features, engaging storytelling, and striking photography to highlight conservation efforts and educational programs. This digital platform not only boosts visitor engagement but also raises awareness about the importance of preserving endangered species and their habitats.
The Kennedy Forum
Silver – Health & Health Services
Founded in 2013, The Kennedy Forum is dedicated to transforming mental health care and promoting mental wellness by driving systemic reforms in the U.S. healthcare system. Recently, their digital platform, which received Silver in Health & Health Services, was redesigned with the help of Forum One. This redesign consolidated seven websites into a cohesive, user-friendly platform that enhances data analytics and engagement. Launched alongside Patrick Kennedy’s book, the platform serves as a resource hub offering tools, resources, and advocacy opportunities to improve mental health and addiction policy. The Kennedy Forum’s commitment to accessibility and innovation is evident in its efforts to create impactful digital solutions for both professionals and the public, supporting individuals seeking information and support.
USAID Digital Development
Silver – Government
USAID Digital Development earned Silver for its innovative work in the government sector, enhancing development outcomes and empowering communities globally through technology. In collaboration with Forum One, DAI Global and USAID created digitaldevelopment.org, a centralized resource hub for digital country ecosystems, benefiting USAID missions, partners, researchers, and development practitioners. The website, built in WordPress using the USAID design system, consolidates critical data by country, promoting openness, inclusiveness, and security as part of USAID’s Digital Strategy.
