Take Part in Our Pre-Conference Training Session
Drupal 8 Theming with Twig
Monday, May 9th, 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Session Leaders: Chaz Chumley & Adam Juran
If you plan on arriving in NOLA first-thing on Monday, consider attending our all-day training session where you’ll master Drupal 8’s new Twig templating engine to create fun and fast websites with simple steps to help you move from concept to completion.
If you consider yourself a front-end developer you will be right at home, but since no PHP knowledge will be necessary, anyone who can create an HTML website with basic HTML and CSS skills will be able to leave knowing how to create a Drupal 8 theme.
And to boot, all attendees will receive a digital copy of Chaz Chumley’s new book Drupal 8 Theming with Twig. Woot!
Attend One of Our Breakout Sessions
The Big Easy: Front-end Development with Pattern Lab and Twig
Tuesday, May 10, 3:45-4:45PM
Session Leaders: Chaz Chumley & Adam Juran
Pattern Lab and Twig, the perfect duo to streamline your front-end development process. Pattern Lab is a custom static site generator that constructs an interface by stitching elements together to form templates and pages. Twig is a fast, secure, and flexible templating engine from Sensio Labs, the people who brought us Symfony.
In this session, Chaz and Adam will demonstrate how to combine the power of these two technologies to streamline your front-end development workflow for Drupal 8.
The Ultimate Super Duper Guide to Content Quality
Wednesday, May 11, 5:00-6:00PM
Session Leaders: Kristina Bjoran & Courtney Clark
Low quality content hurts your organization all around. It makes for poor search engine discovery, and it makes it difficult for people to understand you and your products or issues. In the worst cases, it gives your visitors the wrong idea and turns them away.
Wrap your head around the content you have, and then how to whip that content into shape. During this presentation, you’ll learn about: the qualities of excellent online content; the nitty gritty of actually digging in and assessing your content; and gather next steps to improve your content.
