Hiking along unexplored sections of the Great Wall of China, biking across Ireland and trekking in Borneo are just a few of Michael’s favorite travel adventures. Calling him worldly is an understatement – Michael has travelled and worked to bring innovative technologies to over 40 countries. As Director of Government Services at Forum One, Michael ensures that our work reflects the needs and standards of our government clients. He garners his understanding of government processes to oversee our Federal government projects and promote their success.
Michael has substantial IT consulting experience. Before joining Forum One, he worked at Development InfoStructure (Devis) and Interactive Applications Group (iapps), leading teams to develop and implement technology solutions. He also managed a team of 50 staff who trained and supported over 4,000 people in 80 countries for the U.S. Agency of International Development. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. Somehow Michael still finds time to do some pro-bono technology consulting for a few small nonprofits, including one in Cambodia.
Michael attended high school in Long Beach, California, with Snoop Dogg and Cameron Diaz. He passed up a Hollywood-bound career, and went on to earn a Bachelor degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Claremont McKenna College and a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Outside the office you can find Michael wood working or behind a pottery wheel fostering his creative side for future projects.
You may not know: Michael was a caricature artist at the Balboa Beach Fun Zone in California.
