As soon as she began earning an income after college, Heather would scrape up the money to travel to Europe whenever she could -- even if it was just for a week with a backpack, never mind the jet lag. She's not able to take off quite so easily these days, but still is always ready to embrace new concepts and new adventures.
Heather develops and implements strategies for a range of projects, including direct mail and email campaigns, lead generation, event promotion, social media marketing and monitoring, press relations, advertising, marketing collateral, and branding. Before joining Forum One, Heather worked for Fidelity National Financial as a product marketing manager, where she led software product development projects. Prior to her work in software, Heather was a product marketing manager at TechRepublic.com (now part of CNET/CBS Interactive), where she developed and marketed editorial-based advertising products featured in the TechRepublic.com online community.
Heather has her B.A. in English, with a minor in rhetoric and communications, from the University of California at Davis. She loves to cook and try new recipes to share with her family and friends. Heather has a steadfast sous-chef: her preschool-age daughter, who helps her cook AND clean up. She is a hiker and runner and completed her first half-marathon in October 2009. Her husband and daughter were there to cheer her on.
You may not know: A part-time job in high school selling newspaper subscriptions over the phone instilled in her a certain compassion for telemarketers.
