There are a number of resources available to assist private clinics and other types of health care businesses to access financing. USAID has created the Banking on Health Project, which works globally to increase access to financing for the private health sector. Banking on Health takes a two pronged approach by working with local financial institutions to promote health sector lending and by working with private providers to improve their credit-readiness.
