CGD Launches Site that Maps CO2 Emissions

November 15, 2007

The Center for Global Development launched its interactive Carbon Monitoring for Action (CARMA) web site, which is powered by a database of carbon emissions for over 50,000 power plants and 4,000 power companies worldwide.

Users can visit CARMA.org to discover the top CO2 producing plants, companies, and places that house these plants on earth - or right in your zip code. The site also highlights the most "clean and green" facilities, companies, and locations.

Forum One designed and developed CARMA.org, which incorporates Google maps, WordPress blogging software, and data imports.
