SHADAC Launches Site to Share Health Care Data Analysis and Assistance

The University of Minnesota's State Health Access Data Assistance Center (SHADAC), funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, provides targeted policy analysis and technical assistance to help bridge the gap between health insurance data and the policy-making process. In an effort to enhance access to the timely and targeted health policy research being conducted by SHADAC, as well as the resources and technical assistance they provide, SHADAC has launched a new Web site, www.shadac.org.

Forum One Communications created the site, which provides a fresh creative look and substantially improved functionality. The site was developed with Drupal, a leading open source content management system.

Key new features include a topics section, that provides presentations and publications on issues of access, health insurance estimates, insurance reform, disparities, and more. The site offers Survey Resources. A new blog, Bridging the Gap, provides timely reporting and analysis of latest data and findings.

The site uses SlideShare to provide user-friendly views of slide presentations including this brief introduction to the site's new features.
